EMOTIVE ("we", "us", "our") operates the website emotivelabs.com.au. We create timeless, consciously produced yoga, gym and wellness products for mindful movement and sustainable living.

• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we never store card numbers

We do not collect sensitive information such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, or government identifiers.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your information is stored on secure servers operated by our website hosting and service providers. We use SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission and take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access.

Email addresses collected via our waitlist may be stored in our website signup log, WooCommerce customer records, and WordPress/Fluent SMTP email logs. These records help us confirm signups, send launch notifications, troubleshoot failed emails, and respond to customer enquiries.

We retain waitlist and newsletter information while it is needed for launch communications, customer service, legal compliance, and ordinary business records. We periodically review stored records and may delete or de-identify information that is no longer required.

6. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects anonymous data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location (city level). This data cannot identify you personally.

IP addresses are anonymised before being sent to Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Our website uses the following cookies:

Depending on whether the Australian Privacy Act applies to us at the relevant time, you may have rights under the Australian Privacy Principles. In any case, you can contact us to:

• Deletion — request we delete your personal information (subject to legal requirements)
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from newsletter or marketing emails at any time

10. Marketing Communications

We will only send you marketing emails if you have subscribed to our newsletter or waitlist, made a purchase from us, or otherwise given consent where required. Commercial emails will identify EMOTIVE as the sender and include a way to unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe by contacting hello@emotivelabs.com.au.

Transactional or service emails, such as order receipts, shipping updates, account notices, customer service replies, and important waitlist confirmations, may still be sent where needed to provide our services.

11. Data Breaches

If we become aware of a data breach involving personal information, we will take reasonable steps to contain and assess the issue. If the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies to us and the breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.

Our website and products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
